How long will it take to ship?
For our wooden frames, it takes 3-5 business days before they are dropped off with the carrier. After that it is typically 1-4 days before they arrive. Domestic shipping is free and we use UPS.
For the touchscreens, they are shipped directly form the manufacturer and can take up to 1-2 months.
What TV models do you recommend?
I've found the Insignia (Best Buy's house brand) models are the best value for this use. Specifically the N10 series for 32" and 40" while the F30 series is good for 43" and 4K. For 50" it really depends on what is on sale at the time.
How do I know if my TV will fit?
Our cases come in 4 standard sizes: 32", 40", 43", and 50". This is the number you see when buying a TV and is measured diagonally across the screen.
The height/width of each TV will vary slightly, mostly due to the bezel being different on each model. All of our cases are built to the dimensions of your TV! Any model can be used as as long as it is below 3.1" in depth.
If your TV's size isn't offered, don't worry we can still make it! Please contact us for a quote (make sure to include your TV model). The price will likely be somewhere within the range of the next closest sizes we do offer.
That sounds confusing. I am worried that I won't measure my TV correctly...
Just send us a message with your model and we will look it up to make sure it will fit. In our experience the dimensions that are stated on manufacturers' marketing materials/websites are very accurate. With over 700 sold, we have never had a TV not fit one of our cases. But if that ever happens we will work with the customer to make things right!
Will there be a gap?
Our unique mounting system ensures that ANY TV will be flush against the plexiglass and the top frame, regardless of how the back of the set is contoured. There is a 1/4" gap along the sides to ensure fit, but it will not be visible when viewing the TV (only from inside the case when it is upside-down).
How do I put it together?
Please see the installation instructions link. It should only take a few minutes and no tools are required. But feel free to reach out if you have issues at all!
Is there any ventilation?
The back is entirely open and the case is raised half an inch. This provides adequate airflow. Modern TV's do not put out much heat.
Does it come with handles?
No, even better we offer a custom made traveling bag at a very low price. Much better than handles :)
